Training with the IAIM, Victoria completed an extensive course incorporating the practise of massage and nurturing family skills. She has since taught groups and private lessons within the Bristol area.
Just some of the benefits of baby massage include:
- Strengthening and regulating the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems.
- Help in relieving the symptoms of colic and gas.
- Relaxation for both carer and baby.
- Encouraging nuturing skills which may help alleviate post-natal depression.
The emphasis is on an educational and enjoyable class for YOU AND YOUR BABY. As such, nappy changing, breast-feeding, crying and sleeping babies are all accepted into a warm and welcoming environment.
An introductory workshop has been devised to understand and explore teh benefits of baby massage. A full demonstration is included and planty of time allowed for massaging your own baby.
The workshop lasts 3 hours and full course notes are supplied. Groups of 4 to 6 are ideal and take place within the home of a nominated 'goup leader'.
